Notre Dame, Ind. Jayda Miller notched her 1,000th career point in her 75th game for the Holy Cross College Saints. Miller eclipsed the mark during the women’s basketball win at St. Ambrose University over the weekend; she now sits at 1,013 total points. She is the seventh women’s basketball player in program history to achieve this goal.

Miller, a junior from Mishawaka, Indiana, is averaging 13.5 points per game for her Holy Cross career. She has led the Saints in scoring in each of her three seasons at Holy Cross College. This season, the 5’6 guard is averaging a team-best 13.3 points per game, while shooting 32% from the field and 30% from beyond the arc. Jayda has helped guide the Saints to a 14-13 overall record and 9-11 in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference for the 2021-2022 season.

The Saints will be back in action Monday, January 14 when they travel to CCAC foe Lincoln College. Tipoff is set for 4:30pm.
