ST. FRANCIS (ILL.) 43, #17 OLIVET NAZARENE 30
Sam Tumilty rushed for three TDs and passed for another one, as St. Francis (Ill.) not only earned the upset over 17th-ranked Olivet Nazarene, but set themselves up to clinch a share of the Midwest League title next week, with a 43-30 win over the Tigers.
In a matchup that saw over 1,000 combined yards of total offense, Tumilty rushed for 241 and passed for 202, with just eight completions in the win. The Saints (5-2, 5-0 Midwest) took a 13-6 lead by the end of the first quarter with TD runs from Oshikhai Ebuikhu and Wendell Newton. Following a 65-yard TD pass from Tumilty to Ravon Johnson, Olivet Nazarene (5-3, 3-2 Midwest) bounced back to tie the game just before the end of the first half on a 15-yard TD pass from Cameron Crouch to Brian Jenkins, 20-20.
ONU took a third-quarter lead with Andrew Ryczek’s 24-yard field goal, but St. Francis would take a ten-point lead after Tumilty capped a pair of 80-yard drives with 25- and 13-yard TD runs. The Saints would put the game away down the stretch, with ten unanswered points in the final three minutes.
Johnson finished the game with five passes to lead the USF receivers, collecting 145 yards on the day. Newton carried the ball 23 times for 108 yards. Chris Johnson had 11 tackles, and Angel Mata recorded eight stops along with a forced fumble and an interception.
Cameron Crouch threw for 289 yards and three TDs for the Tigers, completing 21 of 36 passes. Brian Jenkins caught six passes for 106 yards and a pair of TDs. Three players on the ONU defense had double-digit tackles, led by Jason Freeman’s 14.

#7 INDIANA WESLEYAN 27, SIENA HEIGHTS 10
Jared Jordan’s second-quarter TD run tied the game at the half, but 17 points from No. 7 Indiana Wesleyan in the final period was the difference, as the Wildcats earned their fourth win in a row, 27-10 over Siena Heights.
Xander Stokes completed 21 of 27 passes for Indiana Wesleyan (7-1, 4-1 Mideast), throwing for 193 yards and two TDs, while Devodney Alford collected 101 yards and a TD on 30 carries in the win. Brayden Smith brought in both TD passes, recording 84 yards on a game-high seven receptions.
Both sides traded field goals to open the game, before Stokes connected with Smith for the early 10-3 lead for the Wildcats. Jordan’s three-yard TD run capped a 77-yard scoring drive to even the score just before the break, but after a scoreless third quarter, Indiana Wesleyan found the end zone twice along with the second Ben VonGunten field goal of the game to secure the win.
Kaleb Jefferson rushed for 81 yards on eight carries, and caught seven passes for 53 yards to lead the offense for Siena Heights (4-4, 3-2 Mideast). On the other side of the ball, Kole Murlin finished with 13 tackles. Clayton Mosher made nine tackles for IWU, while Justin Johnson and Ismael Avila each had seven tackles and one sack apiece.

#10 CONCORDIA 42, LAWRENCE TECH 21
With four TD passes in the first half, Gavin Brooks gave his team a 28-0 lead late in the second quarter, as No. 10 Concordia cruised to a 42-21 win over Lawrence Tech.
Brooks found four different players in the end zone in the first half as the Cardinals (6-1, 4-1 Mideast) build up their lead, then connected for a second time with Nolan Smith late in the third quarter to put his team in front 42-7. Lawrence Tech (6-3, 2-3 Mideast) scored the final 14 points of the game, including an 80-yard TD pass from Tyler Kulka to Kendyl Williams, but ran out of time before completing the comeback.
Brooks finished with 271 passing yards along with his five TDs, completing 23 of 32 passes in the win. Donovan Johnson tallied a team-high 97 yards on five catches. Defensively, Hunter Maynard registered a team-leading six tackles along with a half-sack and an interception.
Kulka went 19-for-28 on the day, throwing for 266 yards and a pair of TDs. Williams led the Blue Devil recievers with 132 yards and two TDs on six receptions. Tommy Lappin made 14 tackles with three tackles for loss to lead the LTU defense.

#18 SAINT XAVIER 58, JUDSON 21
Three touchdowns from Judson’s Aubrey Williams in the first half gave the visitors an early 21-7 lead, but No. 18 Saint Xavier responded in a big way, scoring 51 unanswered points in a 58-21 home victory.
Stuart Ross threw for 174 yards and three TDs, while rushing for two more scores, completing 15 of 21 passes in the win. Amari Venerable carried the ball 19 times for an even 100 yards and a TD for the Cougars (6-2, 4-1 Midwest). Justin Pringle caught five passes for 119 yards and a TD.
Trailing by 14 in the second quarter, Saint Xavier responded with rushing TDs from Ross and Venerable, as well as a safety recorded by Joey Markasovic to take a 23-21 lead at the half. The Cougar offense put together four more touchdown drives, while the SXU defense also contributed points, when Kevin Block forced a fumble and Caleb Marconi returned the ball 33 yards to the end zone.
Williams finished with 195 passing yards and two TDs, going 16-for-29 through the air. Jaquavious Wise caught a team-high five passes for 145 yards and a TD. Defensively, Caleb Williams made nine tackles to lead Judson (3-6, 2-3 Midwest).

SAINT FRANCIS (IND.) 42, TAYLOR 31
Trailing at the start of the fourth quarter, Saint Francis put up three touchdown drives in the final 15 minutes to earn a come-from-behind victory over Taylor, 42-31.
The Trojans (2-6, 1-4 Mideast) took a ten-point lead in the second half following Dakohta Sonnichen’s 78-yard punt return with 5:19 to play in the third quarter. Saint Francis (3-4, 1-3 Mideast) responded on their next play from scrimmage, scoring a 68-yard TD run from Cameron Peterson, starting a run of 28 unanswered points to take a 42-24 lead en route to the win.
Peterson finished with three TDs in the win, rushing 16 times for 120 yards. Heath Simmons threw a pair of TD passes, going 16-for-24 for 129 yards, with Jay Segal brining in a team-high six receptions for 72 yards. Isaiah Lacey led the USF defense, recording ten tackles with a forced fumble.
Stephen Ellis collected 155 yards and two TDs on 34 rushing attempts for Taylor. Hojun Yun made eight tackles for the Trojan defense, with Josh Saltzgaber making seven stops and grabbing an interception.

TRINITY INTERNATIONAL 21, MISSOURI BAPTIST 14
Trinity International secured their first Midwest League victory since 2017, as the Trojans shut out Missouri Baptist in the second half to earn a 21-14 win at home.
The Spartans (3-6, 0-5 Midwest) took the lead just before the end of the first half, on Ronald Allen’s six-yard TD run to go up 14-6. The Trojans (3-6, 1-4 Midwest) cut into the deficit late in the third quarter when Kemon Reese picked up a fumble and returned the ball 42 yards for a TD. Derrick Taylor’s 35-yard TD pass to Khalid Humphrey gave the home team their first lead of the game, at the 12:00 mark of the fourth quarter. Cameron Outlaw’s 22-yard field goal helped to secure the win for Trinity International, while the Trojan defense forced four takeaways after the final points for the Spartans back in the first half.
Taylor finished with 346 passing yards and two TDs for the Trojans, completing 26 of 48 passes, with Deon Cook bringing in a game-high nine receptions for 99 yards. Humphrey tallied 95 yards and two TDs on five catches for TIU. Reese led the Trojan defense with 18 tackles, an interception, and fumble recovery.
Cole Martin recorded 222 yards and one TD on 23-of-40 passing for the Spartans. Allen rushed for 72 yards and a TD on 19 carries. Defensively, Giovanoi Sanes led Missouri Baptist with six tackles and two tackles for loss.

ROOSEVELT 35, ST. AMBROSE 21
A tie game through three quarters, Roosevelt put together three TD drives in the fourth to secure a 35-21 home win over St. Ambrose.
The Lakers (4-4, 3-2 Midwest) opened the game by taking advantage of a first-quarter interception, with Ke’von Johnson scoring from the one-yard line for the early lead. Both sides would trade trips to the end zone in the first and second quarters, going into the break tied 14-14.
After a scoreless third quarter, the Bees (3-6, 2-3 Midwest) took their only lead of the day on a six-yard TD pass from John Benckendorf to Hunter Thompson, 21-14. Roosevelt quickly responded, scoring on a 43-yard TD pass from Jack Sheehan to Khaliq Hammond to even the score again, with nine minutes left to play. The Laker defense then forced a three-and-out, setting Sheehan up to complete a 58-yard TD pass to Blaize Griffin to go up 28-21. Roosevelt put the game away after forcing another punt, with Tyler Tenner breaking free for a 21-yard TD run.
Tenner rushed 13 times for 131 yards and two TDs in the win, with Griffin bringing in a game-high four catches for 91 yards and a TD. Defensively, Zavier Cordero-Barnes led the Lakers with 14 tackles and two and a half sacks.
Ray Bouye collected 80 rushing yards with a TD on 21 carries. Vince Shaw recorded six tackles to lead the Bees.
