CL Collects 29 All-American Honors at Women’s Indoor Nationals

 

JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League was well represented at the recent NAIA Women’s Indoor Track and Field National Championships, logging a trio of Top-25 team showings, 29 All-American honors and one individual national champion.

 

Marian’s Erin Oleksak claimed the league’s lone national title at the event, topping the field in the pentathlon, while Taylor’s 4×800-meter relay team of Abbey Brennan, Giovanna Domene, Corinne O’Leary and Brooke Studnicki turned in the league’s next-best finish by taking second in the nation.

 

In all, six Crossroads League teams placed in the team standings with Taylor (10th), Marian (14th) and Huntington (16th) leading the way. Also recording points were Saint Francis (34th), Goshen (39th) and Bethel (43rd).
