Crossroads League Basketball Takes Seven CoSIDA Academic All-District Nods
AVON, Ohio – The Crossroads League placed seven student-athletes on the 2020-2021 CoSIDA NAIA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Academic All-District Teams recently. Grace led the league with three honors, while Mount Vernon Nazarene collected two and Taylor and Indiana Wesleyan each picked up one.
On the men’s side, Crossroads League student-athletes claimed five-of-13 spots from Districts I and II, with the CL women adding two-of-12 spots from the 27 states in those two districts.
The seven student-athletes will advance to the ballot for CoSIDA Academic All-America honors, which will be announced on May 25.
CoSIDA Academic All-District and All-America honors are voted on by CoSIDA members from around the nation after being nominated by their Sports Information Department.
