Crossroads League Announces Baseball Award Winners
AVON, Ohio – The Crossroads League announced its 2021 Baseball All-League honors on Tuesday, following Indiana Wesleyan’s run to the league’s regular season and tournament championships.
The Wildcats’ head coach, Rich Benjamin, took home CL Coach-of-the-Year honors and saw his squad claim a total of 10 All-CL honors, in addition to three Crossroads League Gold Glove awards.
The Crossroads League’s other top honors went to Mount Vernon Nazarene’s Aaron Saal as the CL Player of the Year, and to Taylor’s Joe Moran as the CL Pitcher and CL Newcomer of the Year.
The All-Crossroads League honors were voted on by the league’s 10 head baseball coaches.
