Notre Dame, Ind. The Holy Cross College men’s basketball team hosted Simmons College of Kentucky this afternoon in a non-conference matchup. The Saints struggled offensively in the first half shooting just 33% from the field. The Falcons took a 28-25 halftime lead. It was a different story in the second half for Holy Cross, as they would shoot 52% from the field and 43% from beyond the arc. Ryan Black scored 20 of his 23 points in the second half, as the Saints would take the 67-60 victory. With the win, men’s basketball improves to 5-2 overall while Simmons stands at 0-7.
