PILOTS SET PROGRAM SCORING RECORD IN ROUT OF TROLLS
MISHAWAKA – Bethel Women’s Basketball set a new program record for points scored in a game on Friday night in a 125-82 victory over Trinity Christian on the opening night of the Bethel Tip-Off Classic. The record-breaker came on a Halle Shipp three-pointer 1:45 remaining in the contest. Five Pilots scored in double figures, led by Maiah Shelton and Nyla Asad each with 16 points.

The Pilots set a program record for most points in a single game with 125, breaking the previous record of 120 set against Grand Rapids Bible on January 14, 1992.
The Pilots also set a program record for quickest to 200 points on the season, reaching the mark in just 70:10 of game action.
The Pilots forced 42 turnovers and outscored the Trolls 53-26 off turnovers.
The Pilots outrebounded the Trolls 64-44, including 27 offensive rebounds, and outscored them 25-6 in second chance points.
The Pilots start the season 2-0 for the third time in the last four years.
