THOUGHTS FROM COACH REESE
- “I was happy with the first two games. A split against two top tier teams in two solid games is a great way to end our trip. We jumped out to an early lead against Grand View, but they came back with five in the first two innings. I was proud of the way we fought back to within one. We just didn’t get enough baserunners at the end of the game, while they kept stretching the lead.”
- “Hannah pitched another great game. Mahri, Haley, and Hannah had two hits each and Yadi got on base twice. I thought we did a great job of stringing some hits together, along with taking advantage of some of their mistakes.”
