GOSHEN, Ind. — The Goshen College athletic department and head softball coach Juliaclare Plezbert announced the addition of catcher and third baseman Lily Robles to its 2020 recruiting class on Monday.

Robles comes to GC from Corona, California, located east of Anaheim in Riverside County. She played at Santiago High School and with the E1 Prospects Club.

“Lily is a bright and personable individual,” said Prospects coach Omar Dena. “She is self-motivated and well capable of accomplishing positive end results when dealing with stressful academic and athletic management issues. She has proven over the years to be able to adapt and overcome the challenges that most young athletes face.”

A future nursing major, Lily is the daughter of Ronnie Robles, Amy Steward and Matt Bradley. Her siblings include Reese, Zack, Jacob and Danielle. Her fun facts include that she loves to snowboard and play music with her family.

“I chose Goshen because I loved the atmosphere of the team and the campus, and they also have a great nursing program,” Robles said.

Meet the Maple Leafs will continue throughout the summer.
